Using Outlook Cleaner

| Default Folders
|
| Outlook Cleaner provides the user with the option to select which default folders to clean. Unchecking the default folder indicates to Outlook Cleaner that the folder should not be touched.

| Deleted Items Folder
|
| Checking the Deletem Items Folder instructs Outlook Cleaner to remove all items from the this folder. This will permanently delete items from your system.
|

|
| User Defined Folders
|
| You can mount user created folders in Outlook and add them to the list of Outlook folders to clean. Click on the Add Folder button to add a folder and if you wish to remove a folder, simply select which folder to remove and press the Remove Folder From List button.

| Filtering Option
|
| By enabling the "Filter by Modification Date" option, you can filter out which items to clean. Only items that have have a Modification Date earlier than the selected date will be removed. In the screen above, any item with a modification date before February 1st, 2005 will be removed.

| Cleaning Options (IMPORTANT)
|
| · | Clean Subfolders. When set, Outlook Cleaner will go through all the subfolders of the selected folders and clean those items (with or without the filtering set).
|
| · | Remove Subfolders. When set and if the subfolder has no items in it, the subfolder removed from the system.
|
| Cleaning Methodologies
|
| · | Step Clean. Step clean will clean one item at a time and then prompt the user if the user wants to continue.
|
| · | Clean All. Clean All cleans all the selected folders.
|
