Max BCC Recipients per Email. This indicates the maximum number of recipients to include in the BCC line when you perform an Email Broadcast. By default, this value is 30

BCC Default To: Email Address. This value indicates the email address to use in the To: line in the BCC. Outlook will, by default, add the sender's email address in this line. However, anti-spam software and many email servers will reject the email if the sender and the recipient are the same. Hence, provide here a different email address than the one you have.

Phone Number Options. These options are used to enter phone numbers on a mail merge. ACT! provides a raw number to ACT-To-Outlook 2003 Email. These options enable ACT-To-Outlook 2003 Email to format the phone number properly on the mail merge.

The Spooler Settings are probably one of the most important settings when sending out a mass mailing.

Time Interval between email send. This establishes the time interval between each send operation on the emails in the spooler folder. The spooler will send the max number of emails and then 5 minutes later, it attempts to send an additional max number of emails. However, if after 5 minutes have passed, and there are emails that are pending in the Outbox to be sent, the spooler postpones the send by another 5 minutes. Hence, the slower your SMTP connection, the larger this number should be.

Max Number of Emails to be sent in one send sequence. Here you control the number of emails that you send out for every send sequence. In the case above, every 5 minutes, 50 emails are sent out.

Spooler Folder. This is the Outlook Folder where emails generated from a Broadcast or Email Merge are deposited before being delivered to the Outbox. This must be valid in order for the spooler to function. Upon installation, ACT-To-Outlook 2003 Email will attempt to create this folder and name it ACT-Outlook Email Spooler. However, if the creation fails, you will need to create it and then use Pick Folder to set the correct folder.

Undeliverables Folder. This folder is the depository of emails that can not be delivered by Outlook. Emails that stay in the Outbox for longer that the Undeliverables Timeout are moved to the Undeliverables folder.

Undeliverable Timeout. This is the amount of time an email can stay in the Outbox before the spooler moves it to the Undeliverables Folder.

Reset ACT! User Login. This will reset the ACT! user login to the database to a different one.

Update Field Settings and My Record. When initially executed, ACT-To-Outlook Email retrieves database field number and my record values. However, if you add/change database fields or change My Record parameters, run this option and these database settings are updated.

clip0005
Enable History Log. When enabled, a log of history matches is created. Do not use this option unless instructed by PersonalCRM Support.

Email History Storage Folder. By Default, this option is set to be the folder IntegratedEmails where ACT-To-Outlook 2003 Email is installed. However, you can change this to be a network folder or any other folder and future integrated emails are then posted to that folder. If you plan to share email history of contacts across the network, set this option to be the shared network folder.

clip0006
Randomize Subject Line. This will add random number on the subject line.
Randomize HTML. This will add random numbers (not visible) in the HTML being sent out.

clip0007
Web Timeout. The amount of time ACT-To-Outlook 2003 Email waits until the web site times out. If you are running on a modem line, increase this number so that you do not get multiple warning that a site has timed out.

Current Database Path. For information only, the current database being accessed.
