Creating an Empty Outlook Email from ACT! Toolbar
Top  Previous  Next

There are two places where you can create an empty Outlook Email. Remember, all emails sent using ACT-To-Outlook 2003 Email are recorded in the ACT! history.

1. Creating an Outlook Email from the ACT! Toolbar. To do this, simply click on the empty email creation icon. Pressing this button will create an Outlook Email to be sent and when sent, it will be recorded.

2. When pressed, the created Outlook email is created. Any default template you have setup in Outlook is also inherited by the email.

3. When the email is sent and reaches the Sent Items, it is then recorded into history. If you, however, take longer than 30 seconds to send the email, click on the History Match in the ACT! Toolbar so that the ACT-To-Outlook History Matcher is started and the email is added to the ACT! contact's History. Hence, if your sent email does not appear in the contact history, just run the history matcher and it will be updated.
