Cleared Activities

Cleared Activities still exist in ACT! and can be uncleared. An activity will remain in ACT! as a cleared activity until it is removed from ACT! using the Erase method.

We handle this issue in the following manner:
·Cleared Todo's/Calls residing in the Outlook Tasks Folder: We set the cleared flag in Outlook so it looks the same as in ACT! i.e. with a line though it. The behavior is the same in ACT! as in Outlook. The task/activity still exists on both platforms.  
·Cleared Meetings/Calls residing in the Outlook Appointments Folder: Outlook Appointments do not support a cleared status like the tasks folder. Hence, if an ACT! meeting is cleared, nothing is done to the corresponding activity in Outlook. The corresponding ACT! meeting in Outlook is only removed when the meeting is removed from the ACT! calendar using the Erase function.
