Adding Icons to ACT!

ACT-Outlook Synchronizer provides users with a vast variety of options to select and sub-select options within the ACT! database. These options my be run directly from ACT-Outlook Synchronizer or from icons that may be installed on the ACT! toolbar:


This option is accessed through the Tools Menu. By enabling/disabling each icon, you can add or remove the icons from the ACT! toolbar for fast access to ACT-Outlook Synchronizer features.

Synchronization Options  
·ACT-Outlook Synchronizer - Pressing this Icon activate ACT-Outlook Synchronizer.  
·Synchronize ACT-Outlook Stored Group - This will synchronize the contacts available in the ACT-Outlook stored group.  
·Synchronize ACT-Outlook Store Lookup - The stored lookup synchronization is started.  
·Synchronize Active Lookup - The Active Lookup displayed in ACT! is synchronized. ACT! needs to be open for this option to function.  
·Select and Synchronize Group - A window with a list of the groups in ACT! is displayed and the user has the option of selecting a group and synchronizing it.  
·Synchronize Active Contact - Synchronize the contact being displayed in ACT!. Note, ACT! has to be open.  
·Synchronize Calendar - Synchronize only the contacts with pending ACT! calendar options.  
·Synchronize All - All the contacts in the database that have been changed will be synchronized.  
·Synchronize Activities Only - Only the Activities folder is synchronized.  
 
·ACT-Outlook Synchronizer - Pressing this Icon activate ACT-Outlook Synchronizer.  
·ACT-Outlook Synchronizer - Pressing this Icon activate ACT-Outlook Synchronizer.  
·ACT-Outlook Synchronizer - Pressing this Icon activate ACT-Outlook Synchronizer.  
 
Outlook Options  
In many instances, you may want to open the corresponding Outlook contact or activities from the ACT! toolbar. Hence, we provide the user with a few shortcuts to do that  
·Open Outlook Inbox. Opens Outlook with a direct view to the inbox.  
·Open ACT! Active Contact in Outlook. This will open the contact record directly related to the ACT! record synchronization.  
·Open Outlook Contact Folder. This will open the Outlook Contact Folder.  
·Open Outlook Calendar. Ditto.  
·Open Outlook Tasks. Ditto.
